The Loveland Center, Inc is Hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant Near Port Charlotte, FL
- Provide Physical Therapy treatments to patients according to treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Assist the Physical Therapist with establishment of goals and POC.
- Observe, record and report to the patient conditions, reactions and responses related to treatment.
- Maintain daily records of treatments and document progress notes on patients as directed by the Physical Therapist and company policy.
- Reports to work as scheduled.
- Communicate with Physical Therapist in consulting with family members, physicians and other health care professionals, as appropriate.
- Practice efficient use and selection of supplies and equipment.
- Active State license required in good standing.
- Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
- 1-2 years of experience preferred, open to new graduates
- Knowledge of Physical Therapy theory, procedures, practices and equipment.
- Good communication skills. Proactive, positive approach to problem solving.
- Thorough knowledge of possible hazards/necessary precautions/remedial measures in the treatment and care of clients.
- Ability to assess and implement treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses.

- Monday to Friday
